Games. Brennan is spinning a narrative that accuses Retton and her daughters of bilking thousands of people into donating more than $459,000 to crowd funding platform in 2023. Retton, 55, was hospitalized without insurance coverage as she battled a life-threatening bout with pneumonia. Brennan’s contention is that Retton and their family have swindled the funds. It’s another example of the depths to which journalists will sink to tear down sports legends.
